The most difficult and pressuring thing for me was to open up because in general I’m a pretty shy person when it comes to meeting new people so I was sure that I would be even more shy when meeting people from a different culture who also speak a different language.

I actually didn’t get fully over being withdrawn because it is a part of my personality, but it still was surprisingly easy for me to have conversations because the Tel Aviv students are friendly as hell and really communicative.

Also I was scared that I would be a burden for the family that hosted me for the first days, but all of my doubts disappeared the second I arrived because the whole atmosphere had something that felt like home to me.
